Welcome to the Isle of Wight Postal Museum
The Museum is based near Newport on the beautiful
Isle of Wight.
The collection comprises 200 post boxes and thousands of items of postal ephemera.
Although this is a private collection access is available to the public, by prior arrangement.
Although many of the postboxes are positioned around the site, many are kept indoors in a secure, purpose-built home along with the many other smaller items in the collection.
We welcome vistors from around the world and hope to make your visit interesting, educational and enjoyable.
Please, to avoid disappointment, do not come to see the collection without calling as we have 'day jobs' and may not be available to show you around.
